An Army soldier was found dead, in a pool of of vomit, in his front yard Tuesday. Although the cause of death is not known at this time, the solider recently returned from Ebola-stricken Liberia and was supposed to be under quarantine in Killeen, Texas.
Ft. Hood officials said the soldier was "self-monitoring himself twice-a-day" while on "emergency leave" in lieu of quarantine.
A HAZMAT team was dispatched to where his body was found.
The fact the soldier mysteriously died after returning from Ebola-struck Liberia will fuel concerns he contracted Ebola while deployed. However, experts revealed that the first screening test for Ebola came back negative. Additional tests results are being conducted and are expected back within 48 hours. It should be noted that the military officer exhibited no visible signs of injury.
